Prevention of ink fading

Use YUPO inks that are light and resistant according to the required level.
Laminate a PP or PET film as necessary.

Attaching posters

When affixing posters, we recommend using double-sided tape or tack-processed YUPO. If you use thumbtacks alone, the YUPO may tear, so use them together with double-sided tape.

Posters subject to harsh conditions

For cases such as posters, banners, and signboards that are used under conditions where they may flap due to wind and rain, laminate the film to prevent the ink from chipping off, etc.
For such applications, always consider the selection of ink, lamination method and adhesive beforehand.

  • Even when you use a laminate, use ink with strong water resistance.
  • Some pre-coated laminate films have low water-resistant adhesive strength.

Applying to mirror surfaces (metal plates, glass plates, painted surfaces, etc.)

If rain or moisture accumulates between the YUPO and the adherend, the YUPO may affect the adherend (discoloration of the adherend, sticking of the poster, etc.).
If you will affix the poster for a long period of time, make sure that rain and moisture do not enter between the YUPO and the adherend.

For example, when sticking with double-sided tape, we recommend that you stick at least the top and left and right sides without any gaps.
In addition, we recommend that you change the poster regularly if you plan to use it for a long period of time with partial attachment of the corners and sides.
