Bonding using a laminator
Be aware that there is a significant risk of curling after lamination. |
| *2 |
We recommend dry lamination for thin
paper. |
| *3 |
Non-absorbent materials and laminate
(roll to roll)
To prevent curling, set the tension, dryer and temperature
as low as possible. |
| *4 |
If heat- and water-resistant lamination
is necessary, consult with the adhesive manufacturer. |
| *5 |
If a strong bond is necessary, apply
an undercoat. Curling may occur due to contraction upon
cooling, so roll in the reverse direction. |
| *6 |
Bonding of sheets and rolls
Keep the film tension low to prevent curling. After
lamination, turn the film side upwards and roll, and
cut the sheet after rectifying the curl. |
| *7 |
Sheet to sheet bonding |
| *8 |
Apply a coat to the PVC or PP side. When
coating the YUPO® side, the ink may run if it is insufficiently
dried. |
