Use |
|
 |
| |
Be sure to use light-resistant durable
inks designed for YUPO® according to the
required level. Laminate with a PP film or a PET film
as required. |
| |
When attaching posters, we recommend using
double-sided tape or YUPO® that are self-adhesive
treated. YUPO® sheets may tear when thumbtacks
are used, so be sure to use double-sided tape in conjunction
to the thumbtacks. |

Posters in harsh conditions |
|
 |
 |
| |
In cases posters, banners, or signs are
to be used in rugged conditions such as wind and rain,
a lamination of film should be applied to avoid problems
such as ink fading or running. For such applications,
always be sure to check in advance your selection of
inks, laminating methods, and adhesives.

- When laminating, be sure to use water-resistant,
strongly adhesive inks.
- Some pre-coat type laminating films lack water-resistance
and adhesion.

Applying posters to mirrored
surfaces (metal, glass, coated surfaces, etc) |
|
 |
 |
| |
When applying posters to metal, glass,
or coated surfaces, water that gets between the YUPO® sheet and the contacting surface can evaporate quickly
in high temperatures. As a result, the YUPO® sheet will become welded to the contacting surface and
coatings may be peeled off when the poster is removed.
This is not just a case with YUPO® and
can happen with any film-based product. However, for
example, when using double-sided tape, it is necessary
to ensure that there is no water between the YUPO® sheet and the contacting surface. |
