UV Letterpress Printing
*YUPOTACK® SGS (after tack-converted) are recommended
  • When selecting an ink, ensure that you consult with the ink manufacturer.
  • To avoid miss registration, use a low-heat lamp (water-cooled or infrared-filtered type).
  • Although a direct pressure press, semi-rotary press or rotary press can all be used, for solid patterns a semi-rotary press or rotary press is recommended.
  • An ink that is softer than ink for coated paper will provide greater ink transferability.
  • If UV irradiation is insufficient, ink adhesiveness may be insufficient immediately after printing. Please confirm beforehand.
  • If the paper surface is cold, condensation may occur, leading to poor ink transferability. To avoid this problem, warm the paper surface beforehand.
  • To avoid miss registration, set the tension at the lowest possible level.
