Business-Form Printing

  • To avoid set-off, use UV printing.
  • To avoid miss registration, use a low-heat lamp (water-cooled or infrared-reduction type).
  • When selecting a UV offset ink, consult with the ink manufacturer and perform a test-print before making your final selection.
  • When using offset printing, use as little water in press dampening as possible.
  • To avoid miss registration, set the tension at the lowest possible level (less than 20 kg/m). If the tension is too high, the sprocket-hole pitch will not match, causing problems at the collector.
  • When printing on a carbon form, pay careful attention to the drying temperature to avoid stretching or shrinking of the YUPO®.
  • For perforated sheets, pay particular attention to the spacing of the blades.

Vertical perforations Uncut : Less than 0.5 mm
Cut: 2-4 mm
Horizontal perforations Uncut: 0.8-1.0 mm
Cut: 2-3 mm

  • When the tearing area of a perforated sheet is close the edge, the paper may tear easily.
  • The spiral method is ideal for folding delivered paper. When using thin YUPO®, adjust the timing beforehand.
