In terms of whiteness, smoothness, and opaqueness,
the surface of YUPO® has the same characteristics
as paper. This makes it possible to achieve a vivid
printing effect that is not possible with ordinary plastic
film. Standard FPG achieves a matte finish with a slightly
lower glossiness while the new ULTRAYUPO®
(FEB) offers a very high-class finish with a semi-gloss
surface.
In addition to these there is a wide range of products
available corresponding to the needs of our customers
including YUPO® High Gloss (GFG), which
have excellent glossiness, Metallic YUPO®
(WMF), which has a metallic surface finish, and SUPERYUPO®
(FRB/FRR) and YUPOCOAT® (VAFW), which have a compatibility
for printing very close to ordinary coated sheets in
using ordinary inks for paper.
Please be aware that although YUPO® can
be used in a wide variety of printing methods including
offset printing, the printing methods are limited depending
on the grade of YUPO® to be used. |
