Yupo Corporation’s International calendar for 2009 wins award!

At the 60th Japan National Calendar Award (Co-sponsored by the Japan Federation of Printing Industries (JFPI) and Japan Printing News Co., Ltd), a calendar designed for Yupo Corporation’s International market was chosen as one of the prize winner. Yupo Corporation's entry, "National Parks of Japan" is a collection of works published by the artist, Mr. Takashi Yamaguchi who has been capturing images of landscapes in Japan from 1980. His works, the landscape of Japan, offers scenes of multicolored beauty with each season. Artist Profile Mr. Takashi Yamaguchi (A member of the Japan Professional Photographers Society) 1951 Born in Tokyo. 1974 Became a freelance photographer after working as an assistant to Taikichi Irie. 1980 Became more attracted to the charms of natural backdrops than famous historical sites.
